JAMES NICOLAOU

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER AND HIGH VOLTAGE AUTHORISED PERSON

James Nicolaou initially trained as a Driver/Mechanic and Gunner/Crewman for the British Army (Royal Armoured Corps serving with the 9th/12th Lancers). Upon leaving James took used this experience to begin a career in electrical engineering, completing an electrical apprenticeship with a contractor for industrial and commercial contracts.

James met Jeremy Taylor in 2001 and an excellent working relationship was formed supplying high voltage power distribution solutions to the private network.

After 5 years in this role, James widened his skills and experience with 2 years at an electronics company designing, building and installing control panels for heating and ventilation systems for major retail outlets around the UK.

In 2008 James progressed to domestic electrical installations working for a large building company where he was responsible for all aspects of domestic installs. This provided James with a wealth of knowledge across many areas of electrical testing and inspection.

James brings his extensive range of skills and experience to the team.
